ABOUT ME

Hey there! I’m Allison.

Hi, I’m Allison. I’m a software developer turned Balanced Mama Support Coach, but more importantly, I’m a mama who’s been where you are now—twice .

The first time was nearly 14 years ago, when my oldest son, Jackson, was diagnosed with autism. I remember being so scared, so uncertain, and wondering how on earth I was going to be the mom he needed. Looking back, I realize that season grew me in ways I didn’t fully see at the time—it taught me resilience, patience, and the art of advocating for my child.

Fast forward to today, and my daughter Aspen has her own life-changing diagnosis. The fear, grief, and overwhelm came rushing back—but this time, I also recognized something familiar. I’ve done this before. The details may be different, but the heart of the journey feels the same: the ache of not knowing, the waves of worry, and also the slow, steady work of finding hope and balance again.

Both of my kids have shaped me into the mama I am today. They’ve taught me what it means to love deeply, to fight for what matters, and to keep showing up even when the path looks nothing like I imagined. That’s why I’m here—because I know how lonely and overwhelming those first months (and years) after a diagnosis can feel. And I don’t want you to walk it alone.—
